(Mu'amin) 40 : 74
مِنْ دُونِ اللَّهِ ۖ قَالُوا ضَلُّوا عَنَّا بَلْ لَمْ نَكُنْ نَدْعُو مِنْ قَبْلُ شَيْئًا ۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ اللَّهُ الْكَافِرِينَ
Besides Allah; they will say: They have strayed from us, nay; we were not invoking anything before, just like that Allah made astray the disbelievers.
Today, the Fujjar who are reading these verses are more astray than any other people and are far ahead in invoking others besides Allah and associating others in the dominion of Allah. The believer who lives on the Straightpath by holding fast to Adhikr, while reading verse 1: 4, should pray with their soul not to be included among the hypocrites upon whom the wrath of Allah has fallen, and their strayed followers, as explained in verse 1: 7.
